I submitted my PR application, along with my husband's, through RNIP program on May 18.

VO: Winnipeg

Biometric enrollment: Jul 23, 2024

Pre-arrival services letter: Oct 3, 2024

Medical passed: Oct 25, 2024

My PGWP is expiring on June 6, 2025, due to the expiration date of my passport. 2 more years left for PGWP after passport and PGWP renewal.

Please advise what I should do?

Has anyone got their PR already who applied after me?

Anyone having their files stuck at Winnipeg VO?
Hey,
My file is also in Winnipeg office,
Been 5 months no update whatsoever.
My application was applied on 6 March and got last update for additional family document on 28 July ( however, pre arrival was on 10july). No update since. It’s “in process” since. Neither they’re updating for work nor for PR, my colleague who has applied way after me got his.
I think visa officers are also responsible for the delays.

Hello Everyone,
Hope everyone is doing great.
Today I received refusal for RNIP specific work permit (reason: "I am not satisfied that you possess the
necessary skills, credentials and educational background required for the position and meets
the eligibility criteria under LMIA Exempt C15"). I don't know what to do after this? I'm currently on visitor record and it will be expiring soon.

Few things I'm worried about:

Will it have any effect on my PR application?
Should I again apply for work permit?

Will really appreciate quick response regarding this.

ADR on 27th September
Medical passed on 28th September
Pre arrival on 28th September

Maybe the credentials you submitted doesn’t align with what is required for the job. If that’s is the case, if officer in charge of your PR application, do not see anything wrong with your application, then lucky you. But you mentioned you received pre-arrival letter already. That means you passed the eligibility stage. Fingers crossed hopefully your visitors record remains valid whenever they approve your PR.

I did not include the document related to my previous job(that has the same NOC) when applying for work permit application and hence may be the refusal. Thinking that RNIP work permit will not require such details as we are already recommended by the community. Hope this is the case. And also thinking for re-applying work permit.

IRCC is now processing the February and June applicant. I think they doing it simultaneously. Then probably January 2025 is for March and July, lastly February 2025 is for April and August. Just my analysis.

Why don't they process them in the order in which they were applied for? This is unfair to early applicants.

Okay. How about education that matches the NOC job?
