1st June - submission application for PR

Got AOR till end of june

Biometrics 13th june

Medical pass 13th July

Oct - police certificate

January- closed work permit passport request

April- Got visit visa of the remaining child

Just a question- was it easy for u to leave without getting PR first?

We have got the work permit, we can travel and our work permit is getting expired in September but we are wondering when we will get PR
The last update was of ADR

We just can't leave without getting PR in our hands

Hopefully we are on the background check too

Which community did u apply in ? And how many family members u have ?

We have 3 kids and 2 adults
Is having a big family the reason to get the process so slow?

Did you had to follow/ web portal for remaining kids visit visa?
I am also in same situation, me and wife got work permit but children visit visas still pending.

Hi guys, I applied for PR on 14 th February and I get biometric request on 6th May with separate mail which IRCC informed me that , they have received my application but no letter. Is it AOR or how AOR look like?

I applied through Sudbury, ON.
Applied for RNIP in September. Got the Recommendation Letter from community on October 11, 2023.
Applied for Permanent Residency through PR Portal on November 19th, 2023. Had applied for PCC and WES earlier.
Application received by IRCC on Jan 02 2024, Biometrics request on Jan 02.
Medical exam passed on March 14, 2024.
Request letter to update the IMM5669e March 15, 2024
Submitted updated form on March 19, 2024.
Background check is still processing
Waiting for the update from IRCC.

Still I am at Background Check. Should I call them for any update on my file?

Mar 27, 2024: Medical Passed (previous medical used). Receive letter for pre-arrival services.

Feb 2024: AOR and BIO req

April 2024: ADR
April 2024: ADR submitted

That is the AOR I think. Most probably you might have got a letter in your GC Key portal as well.

You can always try your luck. I know people who are working in IT with companies who will help them with RNIP recommendation letter like Public Health Sudbury & Districts, Vale & many more.
