Hello All,

I've just received my ATIP from CBSA. It indicates that everything is complete, but security is currently listed as "in progress." Does anyone have an idea whether I'll be undergoing security screening or not? I applied in October, and after submitting ADR on February 21st, there have been no updates until now, so I applied for GCSM from CBSA.

Adr was May 1 and I sumitted all documents on the same day. Additional document status changed to "May 3, 2024 We are reviewing the additional documents you provided." on May 3. And then PAL on May 4.

Same here, I also applied on 02 Oct 23, Everything is complete just security is remaining, every time i call they say u have to wait Urs security is in progress...

Have you ever applied for a CBSA note? Initially, I applied for the GCSM from IRCC, which showed that security was in progress. After that, I applied for CBSA and confirmed that I am currently undergoing security checks with them. Please keep me updated if there is any further progress. Thank you!

However i also applied visa visa for kids along with my work permit but kids visit visa still under process, is it normal that few family member receive passport requests separately.

yes it happened with us too
one of our kids got his work permit visa a bit late
Be careful, the mail was hiding in some folders of email
when we saw the email later, it was near expiry so we raised a webform
then we got a work visa for the kid in just 2 to three days
when did u apply for PR ?

can u please share your timeline?
we are also from Pakistan and applied from Saudi Arabia

As of now my kids visit visas still pending, hope to get it soon.
Community letter 4 Jan
Pr application 14 Jan
Aor and Bil 7 march
Biometric updated 11th march
Work permit (and kids visit visa) applied 13th march
Medical request 15 march
Medical upload 25 march
Me and wife work permits issued 1st April
Pal 17 April
I arrived Canada 3rd May.
Now waiting for Pr or kid’s visa which ever comes first.
As per immigration office (on arrival), my application almost done just doing criminal checks.
What’s your timeline?
