I started this thread to gather the info about the nationality of all the pre-test RQ recepients to see if it has any role in RQ issuance. I am from South east Asia. 8)

While I'll all for people being less anonymous if they wish to, if you're looking for a full picture, this will be a hard way to get it. Given that there are tens of thousands of RQ recipients, it would be hard to get enough info to get a really full picture. Also, since 50% of citizenship applicants are Asian (South Asian, Chinese, etc) these groups will be well represented amongst RQ recipients as well.

While this research is explicitly around citizenship fraud investigations (which for applicants would start with an RQ and escalate from there), it can give a hint of the RQ picture: http://multiculturalmeanderings.wordpress.com/2014/07/18/overstating-citizenship-fraud-new-canadian-media/

Lebanon is overrepresented because there are a lot of Lebanese-Canadians, and there have been some documented fraud cases and schemes. Also the 2006 evacuation of Lebanese-Canadians was a political impetus for cracking down on "citizens of convenience".

sorry to say that but the percentage is irrelevant to the nationalities in the graph because the person who made the graph said he depended on the place of birth and compared it with number of suspected cases for misrepresentation. the problem is many of countries listed in graph do not give citizenship by birth. for example no emirates (UAE ) immigrate to Canada but a lot of people who born in UAE immigrate to canada

I'm from Central Europe, caucasian looking (if this matters to you guys) and got a pre-test RQ.
I doubt that the origin plays great role for CIC. The first time I came to Canada on a tourist visa, I was interrogated by an officer and was given the "stink eye" the entire time. Other people from my country received the same treatment. Racism or different treatment according to origin: no.
