I have 365 points for my EE and if i get my wife's ECA, it will add 8 points more (total will be 373). Shall I invest $322 CAD for 8 points, as 373 itself is not a big number ! :)

I wouldn't do it if I were you, 8 points is not worth it... if you really want to increase your score even if a little bit then maybe do some studying and try taking the IELTS/CELPIP again.

True

I would suggest, wait and see what next draws look like.
Oh they keep it around 350, then its a worth shot

i have my doubts whether thy would come down to 300 level.. its just too low..

I'm in the same situation brothers. I currently have 502 points. Getting an ECA for my wife would cost be $300+ and would only increase the score by 8 points. I'll be waiting for the next few draws to check what's happening.

worth to make 8 more points. coz immigration dont look only to the points. They look also for Celpip/ielts results experience ect. so maybe i have 500 points and and low english results and u have 450 points with good results for sure u get the pr not me. I know coz my friend got like this. hi come from outside of canada and he had the minimum points but god experience good ielts ect. and he got it 1st time.!

I invested to wife's ECA with my current 408 points.
However, my main hopes on language upgrading, because it can grant me up to 70 additional points.
In 90% probability I will get ITA before wife's ECA is even mailed to me.
So I invested to wife's ECA just for full guarantee and breaking all risks. I don't really expect to use it as a value. I hope not to use it.

It is incorrect to ask us about your investment. You understand value, consequences and risks, so you can easily make a decision.
If you are low on money, new IELTS exam investment could be more valuable, it is up to you.

Not sure where you are getting you information. The person getting 500 points will get an invitation BEFORE the one getting 450. Language scores are part of the overall score, not its own score, so it won't single-handedly determine who gets invitation.

Also, only people with more than 886 score were invited to apply in the first draw. So, your friend that got the invitation must have at least a valid job offer/PNP, which is what led to the invitation not his IELTS score.

Even one point matters, mate.

Hi,
You are in a better situation. I got just 364 points! and I am also confused to do ECA for my wife. She is a pharmacist and will give me 10 points more, but she cannot do WES.. for pharmacist it should be done by the Pharmacist examination board, and it will cost her 855 CAD!!!!
This is really confusing!!!!
I do nit know what to do!!
