I recieved letter from embassy for submiiting full application. I have applied at Lima,Peru office. Down is part of Settlement Funds which i'm unable to understand. Need help from you all,

SETTLEMENT FUNDS:

The following documents will be requested ONLY once your application is approved in principle. Yu dont have to submit them at above date. We strongly recommended that you dont sale or liquidate any asset antill you have been informed that your application has been approved.

Proof of funds that represent liquid asset that are transferable/available as settlement funds. Proof must constitute banking or saving history showing account activity of most recent 12 month period, and aslo must include Proof of Source of any deposite great then equivalent of CAD$ 1,000.If proof of funds other then banking or saving history submitted, proof of source must also be submitted. Please note that sales deeds and property assessments are not acceptable as proof of liquid assets. Furthermore, bank statemnets or letters are not acceptable if they not show any history of funds. Failure to submit satisfactory proof of funds, including proof of source, may lead the refusal of your application on the grounds that you may unwilling or unable to support yourself and your dependents on arrival in Canada.

1-- Settlement funds and Proof of funds are 2 defferent things ??

2-- Follow to above all information, do i need to submit any proof of funds right now with application??

3--I have around $5000 in traveller check, should me keep and show to embassy as traveler checks or change them with money and deposite to bank account??

4-- Source of funds, what would be this...like my proof of sales ,salaries etc or its only for a Desposite amount greater then CAD$ 1000.

Thanks

1.- Is the same thing (Es lo mismo)

2.- Is this for FSW? You summit your funds at later stage (Estas aplicando para FSW? Los fondos te los pediran mas tarde)

3.- I think you can send a copy of them, But it's only my opinion

4.- The Source of funds looks more for deposits greater than CAD $1,000

Again this is my humble opinion

Good Luck!

Suerte!

The Canadian visa office in London has another new form that must be filled out.

It is called the Personal Worth Statement.

It asks you to tell them how much is in your current, Savings Account and Fixed Deposits account.
It also asks you to let them know if you have property with or without a morgage and its market value. Then it goes on to ask what stocks, bonds etc... you have and any Personal Debt.
Once you have filled in all the relevant areas you are to add your assets less liabilities and that gives you your personal net worth.

It has also produced a new list of supporting documents for applicants who are self-employed.

You not need to submit proof of funds at this time, just submit the application, later when they complete IA on your application, they will ask you for the proof of funds. You can worry about this later.

Thanks
