Hi everyone,
This is a question open to anyone who can help me gather some info and clarification.
little briefing about my situation,
i applied as a skilled worker to Quebec, and i succeeded in receiving the "certificat de selection" in December 2009, then i applied to Federal Canada in January 2010. Still i did not hear back from them, but i guess this is normal, i still did not exceed the normal processing time. My questions are:
1) once i receive the visa stamp, i should land in canada to receive my residence card. Should i receive this card from quebec since i applied as a skilled worker to Quebec, or it is possible for me to get the residence card anywhere in canada?
2) Say i have to get the PR from Quebec, can i then settle anywhere in Canada, or again, it should be in Quebec?
3) after i receive my PR visa, i receive my residence card and settle in canada, i have to spend 3 years out of 5 years in Canada in order to become a Canadian Citizen, is this accurate?
Thanks in advance,
i have already contacted the immigration office asking those questions, no response so far,
