September Intake 2013 students... Post here... We'll help each other...

m also applying for sep intake....i did BCA with 72% marks and ielts score is 7.0....list-8.0,,,,redin-6.0,,,,,,writ-6.5 ans speak.-6.5.....i got offer letter from sheridan college for project management and for wireless telecommunications from humber college....m going to apply for humber college .....can i apply for visa in the mid of the June????
10th -6.5% and 10+2-62%

I am planning for this sept intake, is it good if I take ielts exam date on 5th June ? or is it little late ?


considering, IELTS exam on 5th June - result on 20th June
Applying in colleges - offer letter may come around 10 july.....

Still there are chances for getting into for Sept intake ?? how much time shall be considered for Scotia bank account opening process ? what is the deadline for this sept intake ??

Yes you will be in time for your application. Your GIC account details will be sent to you in 4-5days after you send request to open an account and will take another 3-4 days for GIC after you fund that account. * Remember last date for funds transfer of GIC for sept batch is july 26. So make proper arrangements before that.

Also, as mentioned on checklist and CHC website, " We strongly recommend that you submit your application at least three months ahead of your proposed date of travel. Applications that are received after 01 April for May entry, after 01 August for September entry and after 01 December for January entry will not normally be processed in time for the start of classes and will likely be refused"


Better start your preparations and if you can appear bit earlier then it will be good.

yes from INDIA it takes 2 weeks to get a visa process..!!!( you can strecth it to maximum 1 month) The shortest time in whole sub continent..!!!

if u keep your papers ready and soon after you recieve your acceptence within 2-3 days apply for visa.. suppose maximum you apply by mid july your passport will be maximum ready by mid of august and you must have 15 days.. otherwise if u apply in mid july and your visa process remain smooth so u can get ur visa in end of july and u will be having whole 1 month to schedule your travel accordingly!!!
 
But what if you have to leave work? You need to give them 1-3 months notice before resignation....so it's still tricky for some people.

you have to check company policy?? are u working in India??? if so then if u sign a bond then fine u have to give resign proper way but if no bond and you will not care about salary of the remaining days then no need..... but if u will having time for class to be start better to give them 1 month notice!!
 
yeah I am planning for project management..got acceptance from fanshawe college..

my priority is construction management..if I do not get admission in CM then I will go for prjt mgmt sept 13

Applied for MA in Saint Mary's, got admission. Applied for visa and did my medical on 4th May... Now waiting.

My pro..

BBA 3.95/4
MBA 3.98/4
IELTS- 7
XP- 1.4 years.

Please let me know if you're applying in any uni that's in Nova Scotia....

There is no need of GIC for applying to a college course buddy...Most of the admission process might be over during this time for Sept 2013 intake. So if you are planning to apply contact colleges/universities ASAP.

Note that GIC is visa purposes and you can apply for at before you are ready to file for your VISA.
