It's not 113 days. I know quite a few people that applied the visa for their spouses and get it in 1 months or less.

I have a question in this regards, in case the spouse get the visa and enter Canada before the PR application approve, can we complete the process inside Canada or does the spouse need to leave Canada at the time of finalizing the application? since its outland sponsorship

no, they can finish in Canada with virtual landing process
you should update your Canada address as soon as you move in

Passport was send for stamping visiting visa
PR got approved while passport was with IRCC delhi for spousal visa, Visiting visa was stamped we have send back passport Nov 6th reached IRCC Delhi Nov 12th there is no updates till now, Can someone help, not sure since visitor visa is stamped on the passport if that's delaying the pr stamping anyone in the same situation

i think he got PPR while his passport is still with VFS (Delhi) for visitor visa stamping

PPR was recieved while passport was with IRCC for visitor visa stamping.
Visitor visa got stamped and we had to return the passport for final approval for PR / COPR
Nov 12th - IRCC Delhi recieved passport
Waiting for an update.

I'm pretty confused when it comes to the gckey thing.

My wife (the applicant) has a gckey login. We can't figure out what we're supposed to do with it. I think she's supposed to link her application to gckey, but we have never been able to do that. It keeps saying it cant find the application.

And then I saw on here somebody had a signature that said they were linking their sponsorship application to their gckey. Am I (the sponsor) supposed to also create a gckey account and link the sponsorship application to it?

This is all very confusing. Why are there multiple sites for checking status? We have access to the actual PR status tracker site (https://ircc-tracker-suivi.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login) and that seems to give us everything we need at this point.

Can somebody clarify?

yeah, i know it’s confusing and even overwhelming sometimes so i will try to make it simple

GCkey is basically where you communicate with officer about your application (and vice versa), in my opinion they should allow us to apply from here like other temporary resident application but somehow they have us to use another website (PR portal)
anyway, PR portal is only used for submission, after receiving AOR you can “link” your application to GCkey and then follow up from there (to get BIL, MEI, PAL and submit any additional document)

this point is mentioned in above thread but just to highlight again, an application can only be linked to one GCkey account, so if you have a representative only him can link your application

PR status tracker is used purely for “tracking” purpose and it’s useful when you have a representative because you can’t see your application in GCkey
there are two parts of the tracking for sponsor and PA (using their respective UCI), on the sponsor side you will see the eligibility completed only, on the PA side you will see the status of 4 sections with background check is the longest step
the tracker is updated on daily basis only so you don’t have to check it multiple times a day

Medical exam changed to "Completed". Still waiting for biometrics appointment date. The earliest available was JUST under a month after we got the biometrics request letter. Seems a bit silly they require it in 30 days. I know you can send them a message stating why there would be a delay, but that just seems so unnecessary. Oh well.

No AOR yet for us. Our status changed to "Returned" and said we had to correct items on our application.

The letter they sent said IMM5406 was incomplete. But it was filled out online so I don't see how that's possible, it's not a PDF you fill out yourself. Ugh. To make matters worse, we didn't see the letter in our email until we had already re-submitted the application so I guess now we have to wait for them to reject it again?

I know this is old, but on your application was it mandatory to attach a police certificate? In our case apparently we don't need to get a police certificate unit requested by ircc. Just wondering if we'll be able to submit the appliation online without having completed that step.

police certificate section is a mandatory one
if yours need to wait for IRCC request then attach a letter in its place
