I haven't received any updates for almost 1.5 months. Is anyone else here still waiting for their LPP to be completed after such a long time?

Yes, that’s true. I checked some threads from August, and they are still waiting to get the LPP done.

We submitted them for PR, but assuming biometrics includes more than just the fingerprints?

Wondering at what point they ask for a spare kidney...

Doomed? If you applied for citizenship in September you're only 3 months in - got Another 4 before you can consider your application delayed.
