Depends on how soon you need the passport for travel. Normal Service Canada only provides 20 business day service and it will only mail the passport to your address (with very rare case to be lost by Canada Post) but there's no surcharge. For the passport office, it has urgent, express, and standard pick up options that gives you opportunity to get passport within 2, 9 and 10 business days, but there will be surcharges besides the passport fee.

What is Invite Code they are asking when you sign up

After the ceremony, you submit your signed oath document via email to the office where oath happened. Once they receive that, within 2-5 business days, they will send you an email with an invite code. You can use the invite code alongside the email address on the application to sign up for the citizenship portal and download your certificate.

Both of them. Ceremony in your tracker truned to "in progress" and you receive after this an email about the date and details of ceremony.

If that's not a passport office then yes they only mail even if that's your next-door neighbor. The passport office offers standard pickup in 10 biz days with $20 surcharge.

Hello everyone.
My partner applied for citizenship at the end of September. Her test, physical presence and language have all been complete since end of January.
however, her BG check and prohibitions are stuck on in progress. I noticed everyone gets BG done first, but not the case with her.
Does anyone know what could be going on?
Ps.. she never got any fingerprint request either
