You might hear something pretty soon. My submission date was the same, and I received a passport collection email from VFS yesterday.
Online outland application was submitted on aug 31 2022, AOR received nov 23 2022, SA dec 1, medical request dec 8, medical done dec 10, passed dec 14.
Eligibility being reviewed.
background check still not started!
is this normal?? It has been 6 months since medical passed and background check hasn’t started yet.

I have read comments on different forums. London Visa Office is the worst when it comes to the processing time. You can only hope for the best.

I have also heard no so great things about london office processing times… hopefully all of this does not take longer than a year. Thank you for replying and Goodluck!
I spoke to one of my friends yesterday. London Visa Office sent an email to his wife for an interview at Islamabad office. It's been 4 months and the interview hasn't been scheduled yet. No other correspondence since then as well from the Visa Office. Obviously, each case has different situation but LVO takes too much time for the background check. Patience is the key and some luck as well. Good Luck!
This is known as the pre arrival services letter. Usually appplicants receive it towards the end of their applications. Though I’ve received over a month ago, so perhaps the trend is changing.
This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to continue the
processing of your application, we require the following:

i received this email 1 day after service letter and i added the date of june 25. so far have not received anything. Anyone have the same question?
The requested background police check was submitted on May 10th and we haven't heard anything since (not even to say it was received or processed). Not sure what's going on, but the complete silence and lack of updates is stressing us out.
Raise a webform just to confirm that ircc received it and its ready for agents review.
