Same in my case. CoPR No. and Expiry date showing in tracker on 29th April, but no PPR, now again updated on 3rd May but no email for PPR. Is is normal, when PPR expected please.

Thank you very much. I am in the process of filing the application like I said, Could you please clarify one more thing please, We are a family of 3, me my wife and our son (5 years of age) and I am sponsoring them both, Do I need to submit IMM 5481 Sponsorship Evaluation form and IMM 1283 Financial Evaluation form in our case? Been looking for answers on this forum but all posts are case specific so thought to ask it here.

Since it's case specific, start with the instructions and see if it fits your case. If you can't then figure it out, post with why you think it does/doesn't fit your case.

Its more than 8 months for sept 2021 applicants and from the tracker it seems PPR is under 25%.

I figured out that IMM 1283 is only applicable if you are sponsoring your dependent child who has a dependent child of their own. That is not the case with us.
However the Instructions in IMM 5481 say it is to be filled by persons who wants to sponsor their dependent children who have no dependent children of their own. My application has a dependent child but he will be accompanying his mother and he is not the only applicant.

So my question is if I am applying for both spouse and child do I still need to fill this form up?

I do not know where you are seeing that you need to file the 5481.

If you start at the page to get the application to sponsor spouse (and dependent children, if applicable) you get this:

If you start at the page to get package to sponsor "My dependent child only" (my bold), it does ask for the IMM5481.

Thank you for clearing that out. You are right it is not listed in the documents checklist that shows up after you put details about the persons you want to sponsor and the country of their residence and the country you are getting the documents from.

But when you go through the complete guide it mentions this form as well. It does not say anywhere that it is only required when you are just sponsoring a dependent child and not the spouse.

How to get the Passport Request Letter in pdf form or it is just the email printout we take.

Hi my husband has the same time line as you and our papers also went to Beirut visa office but we have not heard anything since. They began processing our application March 10. And our medical was passed March 3rd. I was wondering if you have heard anything?

Seems IRCC has slowed down. Am bit surprised with your timeline where biometric and medical dates are after pre-arrival. Did they ask for a new police cert ?
