Hi Everyone, good to be back on this forum after a few years. We just completed our Citizenship test yesterday, and passed Look forward to learning more about the next steps.

Application Type: Paper, 2 Adults and 1 Child
Location: Torontp
Physical presence: 1200+
Application Submitted - September 14, 2021
Application received - September 17, 2021
AOR – December 01, 2021
In Progress - January 13, 2022

Language skills - In progress
Background verification - Completed, 26th January
Prohibitions - In progress
Physical presence - In progress
Citizenship test- Got the invite on Feb 23rd, Completed on Feb 25th, not updated on the status yet.
Citizenship ceremony -- Not started

1 more question, while adding the pictures of the id for my wife, I had to help her as she was not able to get a clear image from her laptop, but I left the room before she started the actual test. Not sure if this is an issue !

Nope. The camera starts taking intermittent snaps only after the test starts

Was your application under urgent processing? I submitted on 18th September and got AOR on Dec 2nd. Everything is in progress since December 3. No test invite. How do we know when the test invite is sent?

Normal, you ll receive an email for the test but status will be updated for test even before that in the online tracker at below link;

I think it should be before the test since in normal cases people get fingerprint request then BG changes to completed then test request.

In my case I got test & fingerprint at the same time.. so got Test request and next day saw FP request. My online status shows test completed but BG is InProgress.

Any updates regarding your background check?Did they receive your Fingerprints?

Did you receive your AOR in email ? If yes, wait for couple of days if nothing comes then call customer care. If no, call customer care that you are not receiving emails and get this thing resolved.

In my case I received email for finger prints but nothing in the tracker. they have given 90 days for me to submit my finger prints. In general it takes 3 to 5 weeks for finger print processing. So act accordingly.

Hello All,

Just realized my marital status should have been Common-Law instead of Single. Sent a web form today.

No other updates to my application so far after AOR on November 23, 2021
