Same case, I gave mine on 3rd no update so far on the tracker.

Just curious is there way to track this thing?

Curious, what part of the process asks you to submit the fingerprints? Is it before the test?

That is so weird. Ideally online should be faster than paper based otherwise it defeats the entire purpose of online processing.
IRCC really needs to step up now. They probably have an incompetent upper management.

I think it should be before the test since in normal cases people get fingerprint request then BG changes to completed then test request.

In my case I got test & fingerprint at the same time.. so got Test request and next day saw FP request. My online status shows test completed but BG is InProgress.

Finally got my test date, but in the online account only and haven't received any email notification yet. I'm guessing the same test request dates are for myself and the wife?

Most likely yes all in the family receives the same dates. The email will be sent few days before the actual date.

Should I read the while book or there are sample questions somewhere?

Great! I just did mine. 20/20
TBH it was not very straight forward, I was surprised. Had couple of questions twisted. One need to ready the Discover Canada really well.

@funloving did you use any other resources outside of "Discover Canada" to prepare for the test?

Same timeline for me as well. Applied online. However, I see paper based applicants with similar timeline have already completed the BG and got test dates. Is online slower than paper based?

So the strategy that I used was to do sample exams 2-3 times (don't worry not scoring high or failing) but this will give you an idea and types of questions. I took the Richmond Library Test (https://www.yourlibrary.ca/citizenship?gclid=Cj0KCQiA3rKQBhCNARIsACUEW_ZbDWwz5w5xfAHTx72JFB1BoI_NGNxCMV25tJC1CSMpfo-gl10gqIsaAmnVEALw_wcB)

Then read the Discover Canada once cover to cover. The again take tests online again 2-3 times (also search of Apna Toronto free tests online)

Then again read the book atleast twice this time.

Then take tests 2-3 times again. One last time read the book cover to cover.

This should take about 3-4 days. I believe not to cram everything in 1 day rather spread over 4-5 days so that you retain more.

With this method you can easily score 20/20.

Frankly, the test had 2-3 questions which really surprised me but I got those correct based on elimination. It's not that tough exam but you should really read the book thoroughly.

I am December applicant but looking to know some timelines from previous trend and experience.

Application Sent/Received: 16 Dec 2021
AOR: Feb 18 2022

I am looking to know what would be time line for next step?

(1) Do they ask finger print for everyone? We never had submitted before during PR
(2) What is usual time frame for Finger print request after AOR


We are not in Canada between 1st March to 1st April.
