or if pdf size still large you can go on google write compress pdf online you can do it less then a minute. I did mine 78 pictures in 1 pdf file
Thank you for the tips.
I helped him to do it in word. It was easy and took less than thirty seconds as he already had the word file.

WTH? $167 for 1 stamp? That's ridiculous. Not sure what has gotten into them. I haver not seen a quote from them above $40 (that too for multiple stamps in multiple languages).
I have 7 customs stamps and another stamp cancelling my expired passport which repeats on multiple pages. they gave a quote for $39.11 including everything. Why yours so expensive?

Hey, did you name the passport pages file in the format shown in the pdf? "Last Name - Application Number" ? I missed that part :(
one more thing @rajkamalmohanram i was hoping from your review that we will get decision made in 1 or 2 weeks but when i see last January to September lot of applications from Mississauga did not get decision made even some did not get test invites?
Do you still think we will get decision made in coming weeks just asking your idea i know no one can understand CIC.
Or may be peoples are not updating the sheets?

If IRCC is thinking the same way I'm thinking, we'll see our DMs soon. May be in the next couple of weeks (at least for the people who received the passport pages request). Can't say for sure but its a hunch. Let's wait and watch if it actually happens :)

Fingers crossed and all the very best!

The remainder of my stages (Prohibitions, Language, Presense) got set to completed, meaning the ceremony is the only thing left. My application still says "In progress", but does this ever get set to "Decision made", or should I basically just update the spreadsheet with decision made on today's date?

That's Decision Made :) . Congrats! You'll see "Decision made" status on ECAS (If you don't see it now, you'll probably see it in a couple of days). You'll never see "Decision Made" status on the new dashboard.

I've updated the spreadsheet!

I contacted Rasool Daban (https://www.dabantranslations.ca/) in Mississauga and he agreed to do it for $30. He will do it on Thursday for me.

I got the translation done. Quick and easy.

Here are the steps I took

  1. I contacted him by email (rdaban@gmail.com) and explained my requirement on Tuesday.
  2. He got back to me almost immediately with a quote for $30.
  3. I accepted and asked for the procedure.
  4. He sent me a draft translation by email after I confirmed.
  5. He asked me to come to the address mentioned above with a printed copy of the passport on Thursday (after 2 days).
  6. On Wednesday morning, he asked if I can come earlier i.e. on Wednesday. I agreed
  7. I went and gave him the copies, and in 5 minutes he gave me back the certified copy.
For anyone in the Mississauga area I would definitely recommend his services.

Does he do it online or do you have to be in Mississauga ?

So are we seeing the trend of DM within 2 to 3 months maximum for most? And Oath within 2-3 months maximum for most?

For DM, you could say it is 2 - 3 months. But a couple of months down the line, when you consider the average, it is going to be less. For Oath, not sure as there is very limited data (at least for September). We don't know if they will expedite September applicants to get oath before September 2021 to preserve the 12 month processing times for 80% of the applicants. If they do that, the waiting time for oath will decrease. But currently, you could say 2 to 3 months from DM to Oath.
