" email too. I thought hmm maybe my tracker has updated, but nope.

Received the same today, damn not sure what progress are they asking people to follow....

We are following the progress of no progress.
I am seeing the column of cyan for test invite get closer and closer to my record in the spreadsheet, but my visa office is Calgary which is showing no signs of life. Luckily I am moving to a new home, my family is growing so I have other things to distract me, which is good because stressing over this is not healthy. I waited 15 months for my PR application and that gave me a lot of grey hairs. Trying to hang on to my non grey hairs

The fact that they are sending emails almost 2 months after the launch of new tracker tells how efficient the agency is.
What's funny is, everytime I will decide that I am not gonna be bothered with this crap of actively monitoring my application and trying to tie the lose ends together to reach a conclusion on how far I am from oath, I'll see an activity and get sucked right back in to it. It's a vicious circle. Lol

I know. I punish myself and check the tracker daily. Become a habit. I will have to update IRCC soon with my new address and maybe that will get my application in someone's hands. It's good to see an uptake in number of tests but none have been for applicants in the same visa office as me. That's why the spreadsheet isn't ideal as it can only report on what's there, so from the outside looking in, Calgary office seems dead, but maybe all the YYC applicants just aren't on this board. Who knows. Keep your chin up, everyone!

I won't say it's dead but definitely one of the slowest in the country. They picked up my urgent request very quick and sent me the test invite within a week or so.

Someone from Calgary got there's updated next day(look in one of the other threads) and they were not urgent I think. Just hang in there, it will come.

My tracker shows finger print requested, but my wife's tracker shows background completed. Is this normal ?

honestly if your origin is Pak , it comes under high risk countries and the file goes for extra clearances. For singles it 100 percent not sure about married.
