September 2020 - Citizenship Applicants

So, my second line appeared in ECAS today. It shows my AOR date as

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on September 28, 2020.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on December 18, 2020.

I have updated the tracker to change my AOR date to December 18, 2020 instead of February 9, 2021 (the date on the AOR document)

I got AOR for my son yesterday but in ECAS it is showing they sent it on December 21st. However, I didn’t get AOR for me and for my wife till now. Always strange things happened with IRCC when I applied for anything.... Anyone is facing same kind of situation?

My ECAS now shows “We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on December 12, 2020.”

So I guess that counts as an AOR, although I have not received the actual package yet.

Congrats on the In Process. Your file is likely with the local office, but from what I gather it's more of an electronic transfer - no physical file is moved.

You didn't seem to have a record on the tracker, so I created one for you.

Would you mind sharing your location and your Physical presence days so that I can complete the record?

I called IRCC today and the rep gave my and my wife's Application number. She said the same what some of you already heard that they had a system glitch in the system, and that is why we didn't receive the AOR email (supposed to sent on Dec 21st) though my son got it day before yesterday.
She said my communication procedure is through mail which I don't know why they did it. anyways, the rep changed it to Email. Thanks
