Did you sent the application in the month of September? If not then you are in wrong threadHello everyone !
I have just send my documents.
It looks like the process won't be fast ...
You should have already started your PR card renewal. The processing time on the website is not correct, especially with COVID. I got my approval in February and received my card in August!Hi Everyone,
Good to be back on this forum after so many years. I applied for my citizenship early September (non-urgent) and haven't received my AOR yet. I understand the difference between PR card expiry and PR status. My situation is that my PR card will expire early Feb. Since its a travel document how late can I apply for a renewal card. The IRCC website says processing time is 3 months. Assuming the citizenship process takes close to 1 year (I'm in Calgary) I feel there is no way to save the 50 bucks for the renewal.
Done, user @DannyMC8710!Hi Everyone,
Please include me in spreadsheet for September 2020
My dates are:

I was completing the PR card renewal application over this weekend - I have two questions:You should have already started your PR card renewal. The processing time on the website is not correct, especially with COVID. I got my approval in February and received my card in August!
Honestly, the $50 saved is the least of your concerns now lol
Biometrics
Most PR card applicants do not need to give biometrics.
However, you’ll need to give your biometrics and pay the biometrics fee if
you were less than 14 years old when we received your application for permanent residence and you applied for permanent residence on or after July 31, 2018, AND
you’re now older than 14 years old and are applying for a new permanent resident card, a replacement or a renewal
