Security starts after Eligibility has been passed by an officer, so you need to make sure that it was an officer Passed Eligibility. If it has been passed by an officer than it's a matter of time that Security will start, right now there are delays.I spoke to the CIC agent on a call and she told me following status:
Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia | FSW-O (India) | AOR: 22-Sep-20
Medical Passed
Eligibility: Passed
Security: Not Started
Criminality: Passed
@caipsnotes - I understand that there are many members with similar status, where everything is “Passed” except Security. Is security the last step of the processing? Also, is there any specific reason, why CIC is not initiating the security check? Please guide.
In your application did you list your employment in Canada and India separately and does your work reference letter provide the time frames you worked in India and Canada separately, then there is no need for LoE.@legalfalcon
Can you pls help me with this? I am CEC-inland with Sep AOR. This is regarding one of my employer's experience letters. I have worked for this company for 3 years (2 years in India and 1 year in Canada) as the same company transferred me from India to Canada. I have already left this company and when I asked for the employment letter from their India and Canada's Entity they both gave me an employment letter mentioning all 3 years I have worked in India and Canada respectively. I have attached these docs along with payslips, Canada's work permit, and offer letters while submitting AOR. As I have not attached a LOE stating that 3 years are 2 years in India and 1 year in Canada I feel this may require a Review from the immigration officer.
So, should I provide an LOE now(after 5 months of AOR)? If yes, will it delay my PR process and should I write a specific reason for providing this letter so late? Or just wait for them to ask for?
TIA
It seems we both are in similar situation. Usually how much time does it take to do Security?I spoke to the CIC agent on a call and she told me following status:

Medical Passed

If this is not clear, then you can sent a LoE. LoE as such does not cause any delay in the processing of your application.
It'sblank because of CBSA notes. In IRCC notes it is not blankI don't know, but my Info Sharing is complete and it's blank in my CBSA report.
If there is any clarification that is required, submit a LoE. Applications are not processed based on impressions, rather based on law and whether you meet the criteria or not.@legalfalcon
Thanks. In the application, I have mentioned it separately but the letters given by the Indian entity says all 3 years I have worked in India, and the letter given by the Canadian entity says all 3 years I have worked in Canada(I know this info is wrong but couldn't argue with company's HR). In order to avoid confusion with my application's true employment details(i.e 2 years in India and 1 year in Canada), I myself wrote the exact employment dates on these letters along with the pay stubs, offer letter, Canada's(T4 and work permit).
Now, in order to avoid the Review or any delay because of this, I think I should provide an LoE but this LoE shouldn't create any wrong impression of my profile.
Whats your AOR andVO officeHello everyone,
I am an inland CEC applicant, sept 2020 aor. I have just called immigration and spoke to a very nice lady to get an update on whether or not I had passed R10. The lady informed me that I had passed it and that my background check and eligibility were passed. I inquired if that meant passed by an immigration officer, to which she replied once again that eligibility and bg had successfully passed and that my application was just awaiting final decision.
Does anyone know what exactly does this mean? Is there another review stage during this final decision? Can I assume it will be approved soon?
Thank you!
Not sure about the approval sorry, but what's your AOR and VO?Hello everyone,
