Probably it means the SA is done, but wait and see.

Note the 'letter sent' is dated today. The difference in time between one system being updated and the email sending seems to be reasonably common - certainly if the difference is measured in days, don't worry.
 
Submitted passport to VFS Hyderabad on 9-Dec, Application status changed to approved on 2-Jan, and VFS has couriered back the passport on 3-Jan.

Could it be this? because its written January 3 here. Though i received mail on 2 January 9:49PM. And also BCL is dated on 2 January.

Most of the September applicants getting Passport request or COPR are from India. Most of the other countries are still blocked.
It all depends on principal applicants country of residence. So patience is virtue now :(

Bhai, soon you will get a decision. I checked the tracker and it's almost in between 2 or 3 months for Singapore VO. Let's pray for the best.

I must have missed where you mentioned that you received the biometrics letter. At any rate, it still probably means SA, just wait a bit.

Lol...we recive prearival letter request for passport...but the website don't show decision made...I think tget have some issues!
 
My husband just took his passport to visa office in lagos along with the documents that they need it to be signed and 2 passport photos, and the online account still shows processing, I am happy he will be here soon...waited just about 9 month for it...long enough.

I have got another email saying that "We updated your application status F000XXXXXX" but when I check on GCkey account, there is no new update or information. What's going on with my application!!!

I believe this is a Ghost update. It's suppose to be a positive sign as per many who have already received it.
