Yes, CIC has been sending us letters via email - the sender is "CPCS Client Notification / Notification du client CTSD (IRCC)."

My wife and I are both women, so no husband here :) Our checklist did not include the police check (we are also using an immigration consultant who did not have me get one yet), but it seems possible CIC might request it during the process.

If your husband is in Canada on a tourist visa and you submitted outland, he must maintain valid visitor status. At least 30 days before his status expires, he needs to file for an extension, and then he can stay ("implied status") until he gets notified of his visa extension status.

I see, thank you for clarification.
Ok i think we can leave Canada and re-enter again for them to not over stayed here. I’m glad i chose outland. But we are all living now here in Canada. I appreciate your response ☺

Roughly how long should it take for the police check to be received and updated on gckey? The only documents they requested was the police check (other than biometrics and that was updated immediately)
The 'we require more information' status is still there. I assume that changes when the police check is registered and updated? I've been reading that it sometimes takes a few weeks? Was in Bogota that replied back with a confirmation email that it was sent back to CIC a couple weeks ago.

As I said before, my file has moved to cpcm on nov 22nd. My rep still did not link the paper appl to gckey. In Ecas the last line is "Medical as been received" i did not submit translated chat log with original appl but I have it done and stamped by a registered translator just in case cpcm might ask for it. Few members on this forum with same date have received PPR. My PA is from India and I am Canadian citizen. AOR was Nov 5th. Any idea guys? I am not worried as I am still in the early stage but would like to see some update.

It took us over a week... wifey did the bio an medical on Nov 8th &9th. Ecas was updated around Nov 16-17ish. Dont stress and keep calm, you most likely will see it by beginning of next week. Right after that file moves quickly to vo. I am hoping for mine not 2b xfred to NDVO.

Hello guys...I have more question and hope you can answer me.

Each time when I log into Ecas, the only info that I see on PA side as mentioned below. However, I did receive (my lawyer) a letter advising file was transferred to CPC-M on Nov 22th. Now, how do I know if its being worked on based on the info o Ecas? And when the email pertaining to file transfer was received, the UCI # changed so is it safe to assume that AOR2?
Permanent Residence
  1. We received "JANE DOE"application for permanent residence on September 23, 2019.
  2. We sent "JANE DOE medical instructions on November 14, 2019. To avoid delays, please provide us with the information requested as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
  3. Medical results have been received.
***Just to you guys know, medical and bio both are done as you can see above***

Thanks all!

Okay...so...I have been checking ECAS like a million times a day and each time all I saw was "In Process" and med, bio, sa all done and file was sent to cpcm on nov 22th. JUST NOW I checked ECAS AGAIN and on the PA side it changed to "Application Received" I understand what it literally means but from your experiences, what does it mean for processing purposes? Please share. Thanks you fams!

My husband just received an email today, they were asking for an additional document (Marriage Advisory), there is a reminder on the email as well about his medical. But then I checked ecas today it already says medical has been received.
