Hello everyone..

Application Sent: 17 September 2019
Application Received: 19 September 2019
Sponsor: Canadian PR
Principal Applicant's Country: Lebanon

heard they are taking so long to send the AOR1?
Seems to be a strange thing going on with late July-mid August applicants. The average time for AOR1 has been reported to be 50-60 days. :)

Hello!

Application Sent: September 24th, 2019
Application Received: September 30th, 2019
Sponsor: Canadian citizen (myself)
Principal Applicant's Country: Lebanon

How long does it typically take to get our application number so we can link it to our online account?
If I understand it correctly, you'll each get an applicant number (as technically you're sending 2 applications, one to be a sponsor and one for the principal applicant to get PR) once you receive your AOR (acknowledgement of receipt). From what I'm hearing that's taking anywhere from 30 - 60 days after the application has been delivered.

There's a great link earlier in this thread about linking accounts, if you haven't already I recommend reading through that!

Hi everyone!!

How long has it taken people to receive a notice that their application has been received, and do you get it by email? We sent ours 6.5 working days ago and still haven't heard back.

Application Sent: September 13 from England UK via tracked and signed Royal Mail
Handed over to Canada Post and left UK: September 14
Application Received:
Sponsor: Canadian Citizen living abroad
Principal Applicant's Country: England, UK
Dependants: None

good luck everyone! :)
Application delivered and signed for October 1!

... it took AGES to clear customs and get through the sorting centre in Canada; UK Royal Mail mentioned that Canada Post has been "in a bit of a shambles lately" (direct quote), so word to the wise: if you can, send it via a courier, and definitely don't send track and signed to a PO Box as it may cause a delay (we made that mistake ... oops!!)

Sponsor: PR

You need to link your application to GCKey. (Although this is an optional step but helps in faster updates and processing)
The next official step is the approval of the sponsorship. Good luck

Has anyone who already received AOR, been able to link Application in GCKEY? I maxed out 5 attempts in last 24 hours and it says, cant find application. However I can find ECAS status seperately for both sponsor and applicant.

Try entering number of applicant as '2'.
Also try linking with application number and name. I linked yesterday.
