Hi guys, about linking the PR card to CGKey... How can we know that they received the picture? My status says "Submitted" and when I click on it, says "We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you."

Just checked GCKey and i seems my PR card has been mailed today COPR recieved 28th July, with PR Photos sent 5th August and recieved 7th August! This is from Etobicoke office... Good Luck to everyone else still waiting!

Out of curiosity, was there any change of status or updates in CG Key since you linked, or did it just change to "PR card mailed" today?

No change of status, it was showing submitted and then when checked yesterday it showed, Approved with the message ‘We mailed your PR card on 16th Oct’

Mine first said "submitted" then, I noticed a ghost update yesterday that said "application/profile updated" and I just checked on GCKey and it's changed to:
"A final decision has been made. Please see the final decision below.

Latest update:
Final decision - October 20, 2020: Your application was approved. Check your messages below for details."

Status: We mailed your permanent resident card to you. Your card can take up to six weeks to arrive."

Hey guys, my file was also transferred to the etobicoke office from mississauga also. I send my application last year September 2019. After the one year mark, they transferred my file to etobicoke office, I dont know for what reason. I got SA before they transferred it. They are reviewing my eligibility now, and my background check is still in process.

Application received: September 12, 2019
Medical request: January 5, 2020
BGC: started somewhere in February

They haven't asked for more documents or interview, so I am a bit worried on why they transferred my file. I am also using a representative. The waiting process is stressing me out!! Omg!! . Just wanna wish everyone in the same situation as me all the best and dont give up because faith move mountains and prayers do work. I AM ALSO AN INLAND APPLICANT AND MY COMMON-LAW PARTNER IS A CITIZEN HERE!!.

For those who sent their PR card application, did you pay 50$ fee? I'm confused with this on their website:

New permanent residents don’t need to apply for a permanent resident card (PR card). We will send one to you when you immigrate to Canada if you tell us your Canadian mailing address. You have 180 days after immigrating to send it to us. If we don’t get it in time, then you have to apply for your card. There is a $50 processing fee for PR card applications.

Don't they already have our mailing address with the sponsorship application? Has anyone update their same address through the link and got the PR card without submitting a PR card application?

When you receive the COPR document, it has instructions of how to get your PR card... just follow the instructions, no need for a new application or payment!

Guys I got PR card 32 days after applying for the card. I would say it was very quick..

All you need is to send your COPR document and one new picture to the address they provide, it’s very simple! Then just sit and wait... My PR card arrived after about 2 months, but it seems the timelines are getting shorter!
