****September 2019 - Inland Spousal PR + OWP****

We got our eligibility to apply today. The medical was passed on March 2nd. I assume they are now processing our background reports. We have no request for interview as of this time. We hadn't applied for a work permit but it says we can dobthat now.
Guys I got this e-mail from CIC saying
"It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent
residence as a member of the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class. Please note
that a final decision will not be made until all remaining requirements for becoming a
permanent resident have been met. These requirements include medical evaluation, security
and background checks for you"
It seems like this is AIP but I got medical request again again as well..
Whats going on?

It is AIP!!!
If you're referring to the underlined text, that's not a medical request. An actual request for medical would be a letter similar to the one your received months ago. This is just a boiler plate document catering for all scenarios (e.g. if you were approved past the period of validity for your current medical, etc.). We all received the same thing.

But they also said
"Please note that as a courtesy, medical evaluation request sent in January 2020 has
been attached to this email for your reference."'
and they sent me the medical instruction again they gave me back in Jan, 2020.
We had sent medical paper up-front around Nov,2019, and CIC website kept saying "we sent you medical instruction, complete it asap"
We inquired about it July,2020 since we already had sent it, and they said it was received but if they need any extra info they will ask me again.
Seems like My up-front medical wasn't accepted?

I have received the second letter from CIC that mentioned:

Yes, this is SA and AIP. CONGRATS!!!
We got ours on Aug 11th, DM on Aug 12th and just got COPR a moment ago Aug 13th.
