Finally some movement from Mississauga office . Got Oath Ceremony scheduled for 15th Feb 2022.

Oath Ceremony performed and completed today. Happy this long journey is over now (ok..still the administrative part such as waiting for Certificate / PP Application is pending), but yes......it's over. No more daily log-in / checks for status updates and/or waiting desperately for any sign from IRCC (such as reaching out for any request).....a citizenship application....from September 2019 until today in complete silence.

Thanks for the forum for a lot of insights and to the users sharing their experiences...it helped a lot to remain calm and have faith in the process.

I wish all the best for the 2019 applicants and hopefully YOUR time will come soon as well.

How did they deliver the certificate to you? by hand or by putting it in the mailbox?

Hi everyone, I’ve been trying to reach out to IRCC through this number 1-888-242-2100 but there’s no way to get a hold on a live agent. I tried random hours considering 8 a.m and prior to 4 as well. Still didn’t go through.

Honestly best advice I can give you is to keep trying every few mins, at some point the you’ll get a spot in the queue, then no matter how long the wait is, you can request a callback so you don’t have to stay on hold. (I recommend the call back option, cuz so many times while on hold for 45+ mins the lines just drops and I have to start all over again)
