Now that they have mailed it already, I guess there is no option to pick it in person even if it is deemed urgent. You can still try.

Anybody knows how much time it takes when you are queued to be scheduled for a virtual citizenship ceremony ?
Did you get the oath invite yet? Mine got updated to DM finally on Jan 26th. Now waiting for oath invite
There is no pattern at all , IRCC is just randomly processing applications. There are applicants who have applied for citizenship Jan 2021, and they have already received their citizenship and passport. Yet there are applicants from 2019 who have no updates on their status for months and months. Why are they processing newer applications faster than older applications ? I know dozens of 2021 applicants who are finished their process.
All items still "in progress" for me and they have not asked me for anything further. Just a huge delay. Also , when you send a webform, after 2 months they respond and say we are busy dealing with the situation in Afghanistan, all our agents are working priority on Afghanistan. What about us ? Are we forgotten forever? Why are 2021 applicants already done the process. 2019 , 2018 applicants waiting endlessly?

Hi Friends, a few weeks ago there was thread regarding writing an email to Minister of IRCC, so i did write him a letter , it was read the next day, but with no response or actions as of now. i'm sharing his email in case anyone is interested to reach out : " Minister@cic.gc.ca ". my application is in progress since september 3rd , nothing has moved. have tried ATIP and MP multiple times with no success. the only response is , we have prioritized our resources towards the current crisis in Afghanistan. this goes for ever, .....
I already emailed the Minister of immigration office email. After 1.5 months they responded and said "send IRCC a webform" , LOL.
It makes absolutely no sense that they are completing 2021 applications , and 2020,2019,2018 are at the bottom of the pile. What a joke. They should be ashamed.
Oath Ceremony performed and completed today. Happy this long journey is over now (ok..still the administrative part such as waiting for Certificate / PP Application is pending), but yes......it's over. No more daily log-in / checks for status updates and/or waiting desperately for any sign from IRCC (such as reaching out for any request).....a citizenship application....from September 2019 until today in complete silence.
Thanks for the forum for a lot of insights and to the users sharing their experiences...it helped a lot to remain calm and have faith in the process.
I wish all the best for the 2019 applicants and hopefully YOUR time will come soon as well.

My physical presence is 1362 days . I did my test and background was completed.
A month ago i was requested to send my passport copies to ircc in scarbrough. However one of my trips was 365 days .
will this be a problem or should i be ok since i met the physical presence?

Can we arrange to submit a petition to the House of Commons requesting to provide us a timeline for our applications to be processed/finalized?
