Does anybody heard anything from Mississauga office recently?
My wife's file was updated to finish everything except ceremony on Nov/16. My file also said updated on the same date, but no changes at all (everything was already finished months ago). Waiting for the ceremony for more than 8 months already. My friend from Vancouver who applied 6 months later than me has already received ceremony invitation for Nov/27. Happy for him, but it is so frustrating to wait indefinitely. Feels like Mississauga office is slowest in whole Canada...

We are still waiting for a oath date. We sent application in Sept. 2019, they opened the file on Nov. 25, 2019. Test status updated on April 26th, 2021. All other checks completed on Jul 29th, 2021. Waiting on oath date since. Many people who applied after us already got oath dates. So unfair.
My friend got Oath date from Mississauga on Nov. 9th for Nov. 24 Oath ceremony. She is a Jan 2020 applicant.

Thank you for sharing. At least there is a hope for some movement in the near future.

I had second finger prints and gave on 6 Nov 2021 after Citizenship test. Any idea how much time it will take to update ? Already sent an email to RCMP but no answer

Please send your finger print through https://commissionaires.ca/en/national/service/fingerprinting
I had very bad experience with local police station . I applied to commissioner after local police station .
Local police stations still processing my finger prints whereas commissioners already forward my finger prints already to citizenship which is much faster than local police station .

May be I wasn’t clear, I gave my finger prints via commissionaires only. After that I sent an email to RCMP to verify if they have received my FP and they have further sent to respective office. I haven’t received any reply from them even after 5 business days. Is anybody in the same boat and how much time it takes for updating FP ?

So I just received the GCMS notes on the file (Sept. 2019 received). It says "Paper file: Ceremony Ready Shelf".
Criminality is valid till 2022/03/29 since they did it just this year in March. I am assuming they are giving themselves until March 2022 to schedule Oath ceremony. Sad.
Applied for notes on Oct. 22nd and received it today.

This is really sad and now DEC vacations will start & they have more reasons

Yeah it takes a FULL month for ATIP and GCMS sadly.

May not matter as I have my Oath next Monday, but I ordered my notes at the beginning of October and /still/ haven't gotten them. Guess it more or less doesn't matter now, but that's still pretty poor performance.

For commissioner in our area it took 1.5 month .
Do one thing call IRCC help line number to inform that you have comply with this .
And send this receipt and documents with cover letter states “ you have comply with the request “ .
I did the same thing .
Other wise you will have additional letter ( final notice letter ) from citizenship office .

Actually, on a deeper review. The first criminality check was done within 1 month of file opening in Dec. 2019. But it expired in Dec. 2020, so they had to re-do it in March 2021... So now it is valid till next year March 2022. Hoping for Oath before that.

I’m not exactly sure if it’s possible but I can volunteer to update the Sept 2019 applicants sheet in my free time. I think it’s still important so that we can have an idea on the timelines. Is there someone I can talk to to get permissions to edit the excel? @rajkamalmohanram
