Do we need to inform IRCC if we renew our passports while our citizenship applications are In-process?

please advise.
You can inform if you like.

But as stated in AOR, you should tell them the following:

"It is very important that you notify IRCC of any changes in your contact information (i.e. address, email, and telephone number)."

Thanks for the advise. I see “Passport “ is not Contact Info, so out ot scope from that standpoint.

however, if they do certain checks on passports and if passport info changes (because of expiry or renewal) shouldn’t that also be considered material info to be updated to IRCC.

and hence I asked here :)

Any one from Mississauga received test invite. Is Mississauga usually this slow. How do you know which center is processing your application?

They have this information in the file when you provided them the answer of Question No. 14 [The Expiry Date]

Again - no harm in providing the mentioned info.

Yes, they are. The average wait time for test is more than 6 months after the file goes to in progress. My friend who recently took the oath at Scarborough got to know from the officer that files are being transferred to Scarborough from other local offices including Mississauga.

added. To get your AOR in 20 days and in process on the same day, did you applied for urgent processing?

Based on conversations with my friends , the folks who had less travel/trips out of Canada have received Test Invites “very” fast. My understanding Is location of residence doesn’t always determine the pace of an application processing.
Again, this is one of the factors

Question is how much is much and how little is little. Is 1 much or little? How about 10? 15? No one knows. Factors are factors it may be that one served in the military while others happened to get into North Korea out of curiosity. These are all guesses. So let's speculate less and just wait and see
