Can you/anyone please suggest what documents can be added as valid candian travel documents while applying Canadian Passport ?
Refugee travel document is one of them, but for most normal applicants who apply for a new Canadian passport, they answer "No" to section 3 in the passport application and move on to section 4.

Thanks. I did the same but my only question is that, in checklist it’s mentioned « Any valid Canadian travel document ». So as I understand, if we mention « No » in section 3 then we don’t need send any travel documents, correct ?

My interview is in-person, which came as a surprise to me at first but I guess things are starting back up here in Montreal (which is a good sign).
I am surprised, too. Maybe because they can control the number of people in a closed building with one-on-one interviews. Anyway, I still don't think they would ask for photos unless they specifically asked for. Good luck

Hi guys
I want to share my interview expreince
So i had my interview just now.
I have been asked to show my documents on webcam .
She looked at my pp translation . She had an issue with one date . ( it was very stressful ) but somehow we managed to solve that.
Then she asked me why i have been out of the country for a long time and i explained the reason which was covid. But she said you should have come back to canada to get your vaccination. She said it gives me the impression that you dont want to stay in canada eventhough my physical presence is 1362 days. I explained my reason that im going to start my business over here and planning to stay in canada.
Then she asked me more about my job whether im employed or unemplyed.
at the end of the interview i asked if my interview went OK? She said yes . Then she said Everything looks ok but she has to review more and if she wants more information then she will either call or email me for extra documents
That all . Hope it helps the other people that have an interview
I think everything looks ok and i should wait for my tracker to update

Hi guys
I had an interview yesterday and i met all the requirements to become a citizen. (1360 days) .
Its just my interviewer had a problem with one my trips that was long . And she said why have u been outside for such a long time ( eventhough i have my days in canada for the physical presence reqiremnt)
Then she said that she can not give me a date for ceremony yet because they are cery busy.
My interviwer said at the end that if she needs more info or docs she will call me. I asked if my interview went ok ? She said yes .
does this mean she will request RQ or should i be fine?
Also how long after interview does everything turns green for the tracker to update?
Any answers would be appriciated.

Hey, I had my interview today, I was told by the interviewer that I can expect the oath invite within 2-4 months but usually less than that.
the question about you long stay is just routine in my opinion, they do that to try and get you to say something you shouldn’t.
But since you have all your days and meet the requirements, you should be fine.

Appreciate if you can share your interview experience, how long it took, what kind of questions etc,,,

From what I gathered, sharing interview details like questions asked and such is highly forbidden and not allowed. I wouldn’t wanna put my or anyone else’s applications at risk. :)

Hello Everybody,
I applied On August'29-2019
Application filed/Received or AOR - November'22-2019
Test done - September'21-2021
Physical presence and Language skills activity status updated - November'29-2019
Prohibitions updated - December'01-2021

After that no updated yet.

But in the tracker below says

"We’re currently finalizing most applications we received between
November 24 and 30, 2019"

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/check-status.html

I don't really understand which applications they are processing.
Anyone of you in the same boat, still waiting for oath ceremony?

Anyone of you in the same boat, still waiting for oath ceremony?

When did you complete the Citizenship Interview with immigration officer?

Need a help from you. Today all for my and my wife's status has been showing as "COMPLETED" except the Oath Ceremony. But my minor son's status still showing as INPROGRESS for all the cases.

Any body has any idea why its like that for my minor son? Also if we need to attend any citizenship interview after all the status has been COMPLETED now?

Any help will be highly appreciated.
