If you see the status "you do not need a Medical exam" after your meds have expired, then this would indicate that your meds have been renewed.
@legalfalcon I have this status in my GC account but GCMS says Medicals expired. Could it be that it has been renewed/extended but Accra Visa Officers are just taking forever to update the GC account?

@legalfalcon

If they have been renewed , Isn't it necessary for medicals to be reflected as passed on ( so and so date ) in the GC Key account ?

Thanks

They will be. You can send a web form or call IRCC and confirm.

It could be, but to confirm you can send a webform and ask.

thank you @legalfalcon for some weird reasons it is only generic responses I get through webform.

Not weird at all. Webform responses for the last year or so have been generic only. I absolutely love the line "if you have already applied" in IRCCs responses to my queries. Heck yeah, I have applied, can you at least add some differentiation to your response templates?

If you call them, they'll give you the clear status of your medicals, and, if extended, the new expiry date. However extension doesn't mean they're ready to issue PPR, mine have been extended in February and valid till October 28th, so signs of any activity around my application since then.

thanks @vsfedotov the last couple of times I called, the agent said she couldn't give any information that I should contact the visa office processing my application which is Accra. The situation is pretty frustrating, one can only hope everything clears up soon. Hang in there future Canadian!

Is the webform working for you guys? I have been trying to send one for 2 days now, it comes up with an error “mail not sent”.

Now I won’t even get the generic email. Fantastic.

Hello, could you kindly share the process of remedical; do we have to do all the test again? Or just meet the docter? Thank you soo much.
If medical is requested again from you, you will have to do the whole exam just like the first one.

Hey there everyone, it's sad that our applications still have no updates. It will soon be two years since our AORs.

Anyway, does anyone know how much time is given to enter Canada when the COPR is eventually issued? We've moved on from waiting and made other plans already so we're looking at delaying our entry as much as possible.

Canada will not issue new COPR until the pandemic ends. Go ahead with your plans, it won’t be anytime soon.

The CoVid-19 virus is already here for a lifetime just like flu. Humans have already minimized the exposures the virus has bring to us. I don't see any reason why Canada is still not issuing new CoPRs.

Please can anyone enlighten me on the difference between CBSA notes and GCMS, does CBSA give more detailed information. I would really like to know what is happening with my application outside of the generic responses from webforms and NOTE 1 of GCMS. Thank you
