Has anyone tried using the client application status tool. I was trying it out rather then using the orc account, which hasn’t been updated since 2019.
But here is the thing, even after filling out all the details it comes up with an error

“we could not identify you using the product informationyou provided”
The. It’s states reasons for it. Now the only reason that fits the case is that

1. the application is not being processed.

Now knowingtuat my application has already been “approved” what does this mean.Has IRCCdecided to put ourapplications in cold storage? Or because it’s been approvedthe information is no longer available.
@legalfalcon your thoughts.

Which link are you using?

This is what I get in the end.

Client Application Status
FAQ | Security

Applicants for permanent residence can receive instant email updates and more detailed, up-to-date case status by creating an online account. Find out how.

We were not able to identify you using the information you provided. There could be three possible reasons:
  • Please be sure the information you entered is correct and then try again.
  • This service is only available to clients with applications in process. We may have received your application but not yet begun processing it. The following link may help you determine if your application is being processed:
    Application Processing Times
  • At this time, you may use this on-line service to view the status of your application ONLY if you have:

    • applied for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship);
    • applied for Canadian citizenship for a person adopted by a Canadian citizen (on or after January 1, 1947);

The Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) may help you to access the status of your application through Client Application Status (CAS).

I think it is for paper based applications.

Is anyone from this unlucky batch getting Ghost Updates recently? I've got two this week, in both cases it coincided with the system glitches -- i.e. couldn't access my profile/"Error:Bad Gateway", etc.
I am wondering if those are genuine updates or system errors?

well it doesn’t say so, but I can’t be sure either, in fact it states it’s for checking status for PR applications.

This status checker doesn't work for EE applications. Use your profile or call them. Also, sometimes when you call and enter your UCI number/date of birth through the phone keypad, the system won't recognize your account either, but the agent will.

That's how their flawed system works, very representative of IRCC's incompetency in general.

@legalfalcon

I got my GCMS file today and in some pages I see s.16(2)(c) which, when I searched it, states:

"(c) on the vulnerability of particular buildings or other structures or systems, including computer or communication systems, or methods employed to protect such buildings or other structures or systems."

I don't understand this at all. Care to enlighten? Thank you.

Yeah, I gotta that a few days ago too, would try and log in and get rerouted to the welcome page. Thought that was a system glitch but could be something else. Literally grabbing on straws here.

@legalfalcon could you please shed some light ,

AOR Dec2019
PA : Medicals Extended Dec 2020
( Dependents Non Accompanying )
Spouse Medicals : Passed 27th January 2021
Child's Medical Expired : 27th June 2021 ( Since then, GC key status says " you do not need Medical exam " )

How likely it is to get a PPR without IRCC asking remeds or Extending the medicals ?

Thanks in Advance.

See #13,190

If you see the status "you do not need a Medical exam" after your meds have expired, then this would indicate that your meds have been renewed.
