It is hard to tell.
Instead of "You may not hear from us for a little while,..."my status says" Make sure you read your messages and take action when we ask you to. This will help move the application process along."
Though I am not sure what that mean.

I am confused. Hope they are only waiting for my police certificate.

Hi,

Can anyone guide me on whom to call to get an update as to what your application status is? I'm from india.

After the BIL update, your BGC status will change 2 times. There will no other update, unless you get a communication from IRCC for ADR
Its been 2 months almost since bio metrics completed, is it ok to call to get a status? If I have to call what should be the number to call? This may have been answered previously, sorry for my ignorance. :(

When I am trying to login into CIC account it land me back to login page, are you guys also getting the same issue ?

Pretty useless trying to call them. Don’t get through. Automated message says use the web form and hangs up

Hi @legalfalcon

Currently my application status reads:

We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Latest update:
Review of medical results - October 2, 2019:You passed the medical exam.
Make sure you read your messages and take action when we ask you to. This will help move the application process along.

Previously, the last sentence was:

You may not hear from us for a while. This is normal. Most of the progress on your application happens closer to your estimated completion date.

What does this change mean?

This means that there has been progress, that is it. The MyCIC status does not show what stage your application is in.

All application go through the following:

R10-completeness check
Criminality
Medicals
Eligibility
Security

To read more see https://bit.ly/2Qf0Sm6

Any movement is a good sign of progress. To know the exact stage, you need to see the GCMS notes. However, there is no use requesting GCMS notes within the first 3 months.

Congratulations on submitting your application. It does take some more time to get the BIL. If you re an inland applicant, you will not get a BIL Letter until later in the process.

Hey Everyone,

Here's my timeline:
AOR- Sept 30
MEP- Oct 9th

Submitted additional documents a couple of times using case-specific inquiry regarding financial and employment changes.

Got an update from IRCC through an email saying "The application is in the queue for review by an Officer"

I called up today to check on the status and I was told the same as email.

No updates after that.
