I called to IRCC, they said I passed the criminality and they are looking to my eligibility.
I ordered GCMS notes Jan 2, still not got them.
EXPERTS !! PLEASE HELP!

From information available in most forums it seems Edmonton VO is quite slow. There's nothing you can do, just the waiting game.
Did you also ask about your background checks to know if it has been passed?

IRCC keeps saying that eligibility check is part of background check, so my background check seems still going on right now.

Raised a Webform and got this reply:

Your application is in process at the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, NS, and is currently awaiting the review of an officer. You will be notified further in due course.

Is it positive ? Please help. I am little worried.

It's simply awaiting final review. I guess if you had requested GCMS note you would have seen "Review Required" for your eligibility. I'll advise you call IRCC and specifically ask for updates on eligibility, criminality and background checks. Just keep hope alive.

Definitely! Your background check is in progress. That's good. Just give them some more time. Your file is being worked on.

By slow means it even could be more than 6 months?

Actually by slow I meant, when compared to progress timeline with other VOs for those you applied same time or that applied a month and in some cases 2 months after, they have much better progress than Edmonton VO. Can't say exactly about the 6 month mark. Let's hope Edmonton VO will still get their files treated within 6 months.

Hope so, mine is 4 months now and they even didnt start the eligibility. It is still in criminality

Now that's what am talking about cos you have timeline of November AOR which is just 2 months that are not Edmonton VO as thus: Eligibility - Met, Criminality - Passed and Security - Not Started.
Just keep fingers crossed and hope for a speedy PPR. It's well.

My notes came exactly one month after ordering them so yours might come Feb 2?
