Hi All,
Today ,i got mail for my citizenship test which is in 2 weeks from now.
I have couple of doubts regarding documents needed to submit for the interview related to "change of address".

Recently i moved ,but i haven't updated to CIC as the old address still valid(my relatives stay there) and i prefer old address as someone would be there to receive mails and would update me.

In today's mail CIC has informed to update if there is any change of the contact information which includes address as well.
Does CIC asks to update address solely for purpose of communication to send mails or for some other purpose as well?

Now in order to provide the ID's on test date , i have both my updated Drivers license (New address license ) and old address license (both license are not expired).

While appearing for interview, when they ask to submit driver's license , is it okay to show old license (as that is the license i sent when i applied)
is it legal to show old license ? (in case if they require are they going to verify it with Ministry of Transportation or they ask just for identification purpose)
or should i update my address in CIC and should show the new drivers license only?

As i already got Test invite , will it affect/delay in processing my citizenship if i change the address now ?
I am bit worried to update my address mainly because
1. i want my mails to reach old address, so that some one will be there to attend it and
2.I don't want to delay my process anymore due to update of address.
Note : Both old and new addresses are in Mississauga only.

I am very confused on what to do as i have 2 weeks left, kindly guide me on what can be done and please answer to my concerns.

Thanks

You can update your new address as your current address and you can put the old address as mailing address. You should show your new driver's license as the old one is not valid anymore. In theory it shouldn't affect processing time as you are not requesting a change in visa office.

Important Question for those who submitted the exam:

- Is it possible to bring to the test a “printout of the emailed invitation letter” rather the the original letter received in the mail?

I lost mine! And my exam is on Saturday!

Kindly advise!

I never even received the original mail. For most of us, we just received the email correspondence only . You can print out the email in colour . It’s fine to take the test as long as you have confirmation and the printout .

Hello guys, I have a question regarding the documents that we need to bring to the citizenship test day. I've sent CIC my online physical presence calculation printout for the application, but I didn't save the printed-out version somehow......Is it a big issue if I couldn't bring a copy to the test? Do the officer really require all the documents included in the application to be shown during the interview stage? If so, what can I do now? Thanks a lot.
You don't need to have that for the interview. They will have the copy you submitted to them. I think most people just needed to show their passports during the interview.
