Can someone suggest what should be my next step its more than 1 year almost 15 days over 1 year, my visa office is Mississauga and whenever I call CIC I am told everything is ok and we are looking for your test date but still no test invite. anyone in the same boat as me.
Hi there,

I am also having mine processed at Mississauga office - did the webform on 24th Sep and got a reply today (3 Oct so more than 5 working days after I submitted it). My reply just said the standard - your application is being processed, we'll let you know if we need anything else, the next step will be to invite you to citizenship test, your date will be sent in due course.

Today is 1 year and 12 days since they received my application.

Anyone here had background check after the test and how much does it usually take. i know its differ on case by case but just want to get an idea.

Hi - got my test invite on Sep 26th. Test date is Oct 17th.
Question: I am out of the country on that day and sent them an email right away (same day) asking for them to reschedule. What is the process and how long does it take for them to reschedule? I haven't heard back and don't know how they will contact. Any tips/insights?

It would take long before they would reply. Submit a webform and give a call to IRCC as well just to make sure they have got your information.
