Please need another suggestion, my kids 10 and 12 are co applicants, do I need to take them along for the test/interview?
Thanks
They do not need to attend the test/interview.

Hello!

Wrote my test on May 22nd. Got 20/20 but ECAS has yet to update to "Decision Made"... seems like everyone is getting their In Process changed to Decision Made like the next day...

All seemed well with the immigration officer. He had my file (could see my photos etc. with it from my original mail-out application). He made me sign a couple places and said thank you - no issues. Folks who wrote the test on the same day are getting "Decision Made" updates on ECAS but not me... anyone know why I would not have had an update yet? Could there be something wrong with my application at this point?
don’t overthink everything will be fine.i am waiting for 50 days since test .its just processing varies from person to person and office to office

  1. We sent you a notice on June 16, 2019 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on July 19, 2019 at 12:30 PM. The notice you will receive will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us

Patience is key. Friend of mine had his application finalized weeks ago and already applied for his passport. His application still says in process... :)

Congrats!

Today is my oath ceremony. At College Maisonneuve at 1pm. I think I went through everything in the checklist:
1. Print out of the notice
2. Signed the forms
3. PR card
4. Driver's license and health card
5. COPR
6. My current passport and two expired

Copies of all these. I will be taking many other original documents just in case including additional photos.

Can't think of anything else. Any tips anyone?

I have eagles in my stomach, not cute little butterflies.

So can you apply for a passport the day it changes to complete or still wait for 48 hours after oath?
