Hi,

I received fingerprint request on Feb 11, and I did it on Feb 12; I called rcmp and they said they sent it on Feb. 14, but up til now it hasn't been received by ircc, I just called them, now that the 30 days frame is almost over what do I do?

Hello,

Need some guidance. I have shared my details below.

Application Sent: Sept 14, 2018
Application Received: Sep 17, 2018
Location : Hamilton, ON
AOR: Dec 7, 2018
Started Processing: Dec 18, 2018
FP Request: Feb 1, 2019
FP Request Completed: February 12, 2019

Our son was born on Jan 24, 2019, are we required to provide IRCC with this information? If yes, would it be too late to send information related to this life event (arguably it has been a busy household). How do we send over the information to IRCC?

Appreciate your assistance on this.

Thanks,
Roshan

I just went through the Excel file and looked at the waiting time between taking the test and getting an oath invite - damn, we are looking at 3 month on average. Oh well - like we have waited for longer period. I see you May 2019 :):):):);)

Lol..... :) :) :)

Don't run away till May! Stay with us and wish us well with our updates....lol

Any Montreal applicants here?

My last update was IP on December 24th.

I submitted a request on web, and they replied " everything appears to be in order with your application." I'm a bit worried because Montreal offices seemed to move fast.

Anyone in the same boat with me?

Our application now shows - decision made: for my wife and I. My daughter's application status still say in process. I am not worried about this though as she is dependent on my application and we all will receive the letter for Oath invitation together.

I had a similar situation. I sent a webform and they said they hadn't received it - I sent another one saying tit should have been received at my local office and they confirmed it had been received.

What did they say on the phone?

I actually submitted a web-form a week ago and they said it has not been received. that's why I called today asking them, the guy on the phone said no it has not been received but I will send you a link to upload the receipt that you got from RCMP, but again for me it should have been received as RCMP told me that it was sent on Feb 14

I have the same problem. Mines was send by RCMP Jan 29th to the local office but no updates. I called CIC, the officer said to mail the local office and send them all of my documents. Got a reply back from the webform and they send the finger print application to the responsible officer. I'm still going to mail the local office though just in case.

Hey guys so I received the infamous cit 0520 form during my interview.
Here's what went down:

I moved from Alberta to Ontario 1.5 years ago but never switched out my driver's license or health card because I sold my car and stopped driving and I haven't been to a doctor in years so I never bothered with getting new ids (not the smartest move I know)

The officer wasn't pleased at all that I decided not to switch out my id's, later in the interview she asked me what I do. I'm self employed and that's what I told her. At that point she asked me to provide my income tax returns for the past 2 years and mentioned that once she receives them then she can process the file further.

During the interview it seemed that she wasn't satisfied that I was actually residing in Ontario.

I've sent her the docs and my tax papers clearly show my Ontario address.

What's your take, will I get a decision soon?

Well self employment on its own doesnt get u CIT but fact that u did not switch ur license and stuff to ontario which is a logical thing to do because this is only way to tell u live in ontario as a proof of ur address and is legally required as well.

I pray that she takes ur paperwork on face value and u get a oath invite soon

Hi, I will be taking citizenship exam on March 14. Any recommendations on what I should read aside from discover Canada? I am really nervous.
