I got my test invite for me and my husband, however states nothing about my daughter who is 10, I asked the same question yesterday, what I am going to do is bring all her supporting documentation as per application submission. From what I gather, children do not attend test or interview stage but must be present for the oath ceremony as they are swearing in as citizens also.

Yep. That's correct.

Updated

We passed our test on 19th Feb and both me and my wife got 20/20.

Test was good and if someone reads book 3-4 times its sufficient. But we did a lot of extra efforts as didn't wanted to fail. In the end, officer happily informed us about the results. A great relief though.

Interview was general and they just checked our passports for travel and matching (quickly) with the applications submitted. Also, no documents for children were asked or checked, we took all originals with us in case of any questions.

I saw today "decision made" status for me and my wife. However, for two children (minors) it is still showing "under process". Any reason? would appreciate if someone can inform.

I am located under September applicants, row 21.

When they checked the previous Passports, did they ask for all the passports held in last 5 years? I have one cancelled Passport as I took Citizenship of another country, so it got cancelled. I have renunciation letter though. And as now the date of expiry of that Passport has also passed, so it would had expired anyway. But I don't have it physically anymore. Could that be a problem?

As far as I know, cancelled or expired passports don't matter but for us they checked history what was written in the application. Since application asks for last 5 years, it is ideal to have that info. in hand, just to be on safe side. Sorry, I can't add more on this due to my lack of info. over this situation.

Thank you for your response. I renewed my PR Card in 2017 and that Passport was cancelled at that time as well. IRCC asked for colored photocopies of all the pages of the Passports held in 5 years. I sent that. They put me in the Secondary review and issued my PR Card after 9 months, but didn't ask any questions after I provided the colored photocopies of all the pages of the passports. My new Citizenship is noted on my renewed PR Card. So they are aware of the situation. Now I did not know that they will ever ask for that old passport ever again, so I don't have that passport with me anymore. I don't know what to say in case I am asked to produce it now.

Done the test today.
20/20.
The whole process took me less than 20 min. I'm glad I studied hard because it was a lot of comprehensive questions.
The interviewer said congrats after checked all docu (it was quick as well)and mentioned to wait for the letter of oath.
I'm so relieved. Can't wait to see my status turns to DM.

I and my wife today passed our citizenship test:D:D:D:D
Congrats Aman!!!
I have got my test invite last night and test date is march 04th. I have got really few days to prepare.
Questions:
What is passing score?
What if one fails in the test?
What documents do we need to carry on the test/interview day?

Hi,
Congratulations on the test invite. To answer your questions:
1. The pass mark is 15 out of 20.
2. If you score less than that, you will be invited to take another test within 4 to 8 weeks after the first test. If you still fail that one, you will then be invited to an interview with a citizenship officer, where your knowledge is tested.
3. It is an interview. First, your test invite tells you to bring your identity documents and all passports. Then, also think about your circumstances personally. Is there something peculiar about your own situation? For example, if you frequently visit the USA on day trips (eg as a cross-border worker), and you have this long list of daily absences, you might want to bring supporting documentation for that. Your present work is another thing you should have evidence for, in case you're asked.
From my research, for most people, the interview is just to look at the originals of the photocopies you submitted with your application.
remember to bring along the identity documents for your spouse/common-law partner and kids, (whether they are in Canada or not).
Hope this helps.
