If you are so precise please explain how you count the days of leaving Canada and arriving back in Canada, ex. I left canada at 6 PM and returned at 10 AM, any of these days count?
Isn't it just better to add a few extra days?

You are still not losing a day because you were in Canada on both the days. Add entry and exit day in the physical calendar and I'm quite certain it will says 0 days( Reason: you were in Canada both the days. There is no requirement you to be in Canada for 24 hours of a day)

Yes it's better to add few days without a question but at the same time, the calculation is pretty straight forward. It's entirely based in the physical presence calculator. If you are quite certain of your enter and exit and the calculator says you are eligible, you are good to proceed.

( I kept a track of my entry and exits into Canada)

Just Canadian tax filing. They care less to know If you paid taxes or not in your previous country you lived.
