I regret leaving job before getting PPR. :(
Me too .. if i knew it was gonna take more than 8 Months to 1 year - i would have looked for alternatives or would have been better prepared to brace the wait ..

Well Lesson learned

That's a lesson which IRCC has taught us that although your file is perfectly good with all required documents in it... They will process our application only when they want to... irrespective of the timelines their agency claims to maintain.
I left job after my BG check moved in February.
Regret for not filing Australian PR as a parallel activity.

Hi guys

I was the silent reader of this forum for a long time. AOR 19 Sept and today we got PPR with my common-law partner. Main office was Ottawa. Here is the timeline (medicals were done in advance)

AOR 19 Sept 2018
16 Oct Biometrics and PCC requests
12 January 2019 Again PCC request (the same, not sure why)
21 February CV and Student form request

At that point I realized that we are in SS. It was true how I later learned from CBSA notes. It was started 25 Feb. After that - total silence. I called three times and all the time agents says that I am not in SS. In June I've ordered CBSA.

30 August Remedicals request
10 Sept Medicals passed
11 Sept Ghost update
13 Sept PPR

I know there are many people from September group who are waiting. Guys, do not loose hope. What I learned here - patience is a key to everything and your PPR will come. Stay positive and patient. And of course I want to thank all the forum members - without this forum the Canada thing would not be possible.

Congrats:
Another SS case got cleared within 6 month from start of security.
a great relief for us :D:D

With a cautious optimism I can say that it looks like IRCC resumed issuing PPRs:

16 weeks ago there were 88 people waiting for their PPRs
Now there are "only" 25.
Which gives us a very approximate value of (88 - 25) / 16 = 4 people per week

Which predicts that in 6-6.5 weeks everyone will get their PPRs.

Hey, at least it's not 8 weeks like (2-3 months) before! :)

A ray of hope :-) Is that 25 people including me active in this forum ?
Can we take a count ?
me 1 Aor Sept 20

24 at the moment, but this thing fluctuates.

I would think that everyone on this forum has an MyImmiTracker record. Plus, for every active person on this forum, there are probably a few lurkers and people not aware of this forum. But still, this 24-25 seems to be a good representation of what's going on - at least that's all we have. :)
