Hi
My app showed application updated, but actually no new update. I called cic, the agent told me ...nothing happened yet not even eligibility, my file wasnt even open. They just did a small assesment which was passed and hence may be it showed the update .
This is what she told me.
AOR 27 sep
Guys is this normal ? like more than 9 months and eligibility not even started
Please suggest ...should i request for gcms

Thanks

I would get your GCMS notes and see what is going on...

Got some movement on my application.
Sep. 18, 2018 - AOR
Oct. 13 - MED passed
Oct. 18 - Biometrics completed
Oct. 31 - Payed RPRF
Jul. 11, 2019 - Request IMM 5604 & Background checks started.

Hopefully all goes well...

Hey Guys,
I have received a re-medical request. How long does it take for them to send PPR email once I submit my re-med? I have passed all the background check according to the agent.

Thank you.

Another week, another piece of statistics. Or "statistics", if you like.

AOR year 2018, MP + AOR status:
6 weeks ago: 880 people
today: 462 + 37 = 499 people. (880 - 499) / 6 = 63.5 people per week (was 67 last week, 63 the week before)
Weeks remaining: 499 / 63.5 = 8 weeks
Damn it, again it is 8 week! Every week it is 8 weeks left. But in fact before it was slightly more than 8 weeks, now this type of prediction says slightly less than 8 weeks.

AOR September 2018, MP + AOR:
6 weeks ago: 88 people
now: 52 people. (88 - 56) / 6 = 5.3 people per week
Weeks remaining: 56 / 5.3 = 10.5 weeks

As we know, a more reliable indicator is the number of PPRs received, which I ignored previously. Let me record the today's figure: 462 PPRs

So the waiting game is still going on for most of us for at least another month.
looks like only 40 cases processed like week, 459 cases waiting on PPR...dont quote me on that. looking forward to your weekly breakdown tomorrow.

AoR 13 sept...
Got following response on 6 july from IRCC after raising CSE

“Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We verified the information you provided and can confirm that the application is still in process.

All the required documents and information have been received by the responsible office for the moment.

While the processing times may vary with each case, we will make all the necessary efforts to finalize your application as soon as possible.

Rest assured that you will be informed as soon as a decision is reached or if additional information is needed.”

Is it generic or means something good?

It’s generic. I got the same response three times. It turns out they never had my second set of X-rays, so no they did not have everything they needed.

Could be good for your situation. Only my GCMS notes confirmed that there was an issue.

looking forward to your weekly breakdown tomorrow.
Thank you. Let's use statistics again to explain why we are not in Canada yet (not in PR status, at least). :)

So,
AOR year 2018, MP + AOR status:
7 weeks ago: 880 people
today: 443 + 33 = 476 people. (880 - 476) / 7 = 58 people per week (was 63.5 last week)
Weeks remaining: 476 / 58 = 8 weeks (again)

More relevant indicator for us is
AOR September 2018, MP + AOR:
7 weeks ago: 88 people
now: 49 + 5 = 54 people (was 56 last week). (88 - 54) / 7 = 5 people per week
Weeks remaining: 54 / 5 = 11 weeks (was 10.5 last week)
PPRs so far: 467 (was 462 last week), 5 people over the last week.

There is definitely some progress over time - if I remember correctly, two months ago there were 79% PPRs of September 2018, now there are 89%.

Once again - if you can afford it, don't put your life on pause and stress about it. At least enjoy the pause. Also, you may want to apply for a temporary work visa if your situation permits. But this will probably involve an LMIA application, which is brutal too.

Still waiting as well. All I got were standard responses from CIC and that's it.

they responded to one of my CSEs last week saying that if you do not receive anything from us by 26 July send us another CSE form.
Is this a generic response ?????
I was bombarding them with CSEs & emails to CPC-Ottawa.
