AOR sept 18. No update since October 2018. My file has not been touched since October according to gcms notes. Raise cse's and called a good number of time but no tangible information. The last agent i spoke to said i should just wait. Been in Ip1 and im tired of waiting.
Hey my AOR is 23sept and have the same status as your - eligibility met and in IP1 since ages and file never touched after Oct. I can totally empathize with you as I am totally tired of no update whatsoever.
I don't know if this is a pattern with eligibility met files but I am trying to understand how often 'met' files get touched again before a PPR.
Pls let me know if you know of any cases with eligibility as met receiving PPR and duration before receiving a PPR.

Same boat as you too, earlier in Sept, IP1, no activity since then.
I've seen this more often with files being processed at the Sydney NS office. (which is my case, and many others stuck in IP1)

Hi all,

12 days out before 8 months since AOR :(
I have RR for POF which I addressed with a CSE about a month ago - likely an error from my consultant.

Does anyone know if there’s been movement regarding RR files in Ottawa lately?

I never thought this process would take so long :(

Hi,
I have RR for POF too & updated it via CSE last week.
We are launching a Twitter campaign to urge Ottawa vo to start clearing RR backlogs, Sydney Vo did that & their files were transferred to local VOs & people started receiving PPR s, so I hope we can do the same

CIMM@parl.gc.ca (immigration committee)
Cc: minister@cic.gc.ca (Ahmed Hussein - office)
Subject line: URGE CPC-OTTAWA VO TO CLEAR RR BACKLOGS
To: Standing Comittee on Citizenship & Immigration - Canada house of commons
Dear all,
I am seeking your assistance in urging CPC-Ottawa visa office to start clearing the backlogs of files that are under review required (RR) by a senior officer.
Some files haven't been touched for almost a year now, meanwhile Ottawa VO is issuing PPRs for those who applied during the first quarter of 2019.
The wait is emotionally draining, and many people need to know the final decision whether it is an approval or rejection so they can plan for the next phase of their life.
People's lives are on pause while waiting for the processing of their immigration files. We have job to leave in a proper state as we need to notify our employers some countries require a 2 months notification prior to resignation.
We also have kids school calendars to adjust our travel plans to in case our visa is approved.
Some people's medical validity is so near while their files are parked for review required until no one knows.
This is emotionally & psychologically draining, please urge Ottawa vo to start clearing at their RR files before working on fresh applications.
Below you will find my application details:
Principal applicant:
Unique client identifier:
Application number:
Date application received:
Date of birth:
Country of birth:
Type of application:
Phone number:
Reason for review required:
Action taken by applicant to clear any misunderstanding that caused
When was the action taken:
Thank you for your time.
Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated.

If anyone is interested in this we can all participate to help each other.
If you are afraid that it may backfire on the processing of your application you can keep waiting.

Hello Everyone,

I submitted my passport to VFS Hyderabad on 15th April and my passport reached the Canadian High Commission at Delhi on the 17th April, does anyone know the current processing time to receive my passport. I am a little worried because I have booked my flight ticket to Toronto for 11th May.
Anyone who recently submitted their passport at Hyderabad VFS, just want to know how long it took for you?

Thank you,
Vasant

last 2 months people wee tweeting crazily about their RR files tagging the minister & MPs , files were transferred to local VOs such as ND VO, London, Abu Dhabi VO
those whose files were transferred started getting PPRs specially fron ND VO , bcoz sydeny and Ottawa simply park files forever without doing anything
