Oh you are scaring me...it's been more than 3 weeks I have been asked for RPRF but no sign of PPR.... according to your research you mean I will have to wait for another 3 4 months....oh god...can't wait so longer...hands up:p
That's pretty much what I have learnt so far.

I am Nov AOR and I didn't get my RPRF yet. I should have probably got it by now since my R10 is already done as per the agent. So that just means I will be getting it around May the same time I would expect my PPR

So if you received RPRF request early then you would probably have to wait till your application is approved. Which could take 3-4 months as per average processing time.

My wife was in Canada at the time and chose CELPIP which is a CBT. I haven't tried it but if the test taker prefers a paper based test to a CBT, that's fine.

Congrats!
Did you observe any reversing of your BGC from IP2 to IP1, then back to IP2 before Ghost Update/PPR?

No observation except that when I checked my account after receiving the PPR mail I noticed that my ADR had changed from 'we are reviewing.....' to 'Not Applicable' while every other thing remained the same since AOR.
