It's close to impossible to know what stage the application is in. Only reliable way is through GCMS, and even then it's not 100%, as it will give you a view of where it was a month before
(due to time it takes for delivery.)
The background check status is extremely unreliable in knowing how close you are to approval.
People will tell you it's so-called IP1, saying it's the stage they're processing R10 or eligibility or whatever, but in reality, it doesn't mean much.
PPR could happen tomorrow, just like it could happen months from now.
Many applicants have been "stuck" in this status since AOR, until they got PPR, without ever seeing so-called IP2. And vice versa.
Some were even in Not Applicable since AOR, and never saw any status change until the application was approved.
Don't focus on this BG status to know where your application is, as it will most probably confuse you more than guide you.
