I do not know if this is really IP2 since eligibility requirements are still being reviewed but someone is working on the files. So be assured guys . Below is my timeline :

MEP- 4th Oct
IP1- 5th Oct

My application status :

That's cool, my AOR is September 13, hopefully my status changes from ip1 to ip2 (CEC inland applicant..)

No, I did not receive any email.

However I have been checking my status daily and until yesterday it was "We will let you know when we START your background check " and today morning it is " Your Background check is in Progress".

That is not so great that you didnt receive an email notification. Great that your file is moving!

Hummm...what would a status change without an email notification signify ? I know wherein email comes but no status update is reflected but mine was other way...status update but no email :D
