Hello people,

AOR: 15th Sept,2018.

Still waiting even after Re-medicals in August 2019.

Agent told me in mid August that I passed Eligibility and Criminality in August

Visa Officer reply since August: File is in queue for review by an officer. (Earlier it was awaiting additional verification.)

Emailed Ralph Goodale: Security checks have not been initiated. They cannot be expedited and timelines are not available.

Did anybody hear about such a case?

I have no travel history at all. Ive stayed in India all my life.

Same case here! Agent told me Eligibility passed but background check still in process. My AOR is November 18, 2018 and remedicals also passed in August 2019, but no sign of PPR yet..

Faster??!?? Bud webform takes weeks, whereas Ralph replies within a day.. Generic replies are all we are supposed to get anyway.. main thing is status of Eligibility, Criminality and Security. Thats what most of us are concerned about and that’s what they reply about. Twice i raised a webform and they told me to raise a webform by selecting specific visa office as mine is london, other times it took time for them to reply. Trust me Ralph is doing God’s work by giving us replies. And that also within a day or so, that’s what my experience has been anyway.

Especially for me I must say, who’s file is outside Canada and us LVO applicants cant even call IRCC to get update like many other applicants who’s files are within Canada, well lately i think they have stopped giving replies on the phone altogether but either ways it didnt make a difference for me, as they never told me my application status on the phone to begin with..

I am so thankful to Ralph and his office, because where everything and everyone else (gcms,cbsa, CSEs, emails to VO) would take alot of time, Ralph would be the only one to reply me within a day or few days max.

Bro, I Said Ralph's replies are FASTER but generic like webforms. At least in my case!

If you've passed eligibility, criminality, don't have a serious health condition and do not have a criminal case, then rest assured that it's only a matter of time.

Your file now is in queue with cbsa/csis (security checks) and is not under IRCC jurisdiction anymore (hence, cannot be expedited).

You just need to be patient a little bit more, you are almost there!

Oh My God !! 2 months of wait again after re-medicals ... I cant think of this long wait again ... plz call CIC and check about this .. hope u r checking your spam mail too... I was expecting the golden email each and every day after passing re-medicals ...

For those who are stuck in Comprehensive SS, my Comprehensive SS took around 6 months, from Feb 2019(end of feb) to August 2019 - file was pending review for one month (whole month of September 2019).
