Hi everyone,

I'm a September 14th AOR, and it looks like I'm still stuck in Ip1. I went into the IRCC website to raise a query, but the form says you should only do this if your application is outside of processing times, mine still has 14 days to go. My question is, should I still send the query, or is it better to just wait? I called as well to get more info but all they told me is the same that I can see on my online form.
I ordered GCMS notes yesterday as well.

Thanks
My AOR is Sep. 18 and I raised a query and got a response in five days. So you can try, I believe they’ll respond.

I believe that they are specifically referring to the BG check timeline.

Hi everyone, I had received my GCMS notes by end of January. As per that, case officer had put "Review required for SIBLING IN CANADA - RELATIONSHIP". I had provided passport details for my wife and my sister in law who is in Canada. I believe the reason that officer had mentioned review required is that My wife's parents sirname is there on her passport but the sirname is missing on her sister's passport. do you think that could be the reason? My AOR is 15th Sep. I am thinking about getting an affidavit (declaration saying both names belong to the same person) from both my mother/father in-law and upload that through webform upfront from my side before officer reviews it again and maybe ask for ADR. do you think that would be the right ting to do?
Did you send just passports??
You need to submit birth certificates as solid proof.
Passports and basic IDs simply showing family names isn't enough. There are tons and tons of people sharing the same family name but sharing no family link whatsoever.
Birth certificates is one of the only ways to prove parental and blood links.
I'd really suggest providing them right away.

Nothing started except criminality(because of the BIO), gcms notes 01 february was empty ( even no A11.2) i was so disappointed.

They touched, worked and approved my file in maximum 28 days ...just unbelievable i absolutely was not excepting PPR that soon.

If they want be fast they really can... i could have PPR in 28 days maximum but they prefered to give me at the end of my 6 month not at the beginning :(
Congratulations to you bud'!
I remember you were very frustrated thinking your application hasn't been touched.
But the thing is, even GCMS notes are not as reliable as people tend to think. Statuses sometimes go from Passed, to Not Started, to In Progress, and then to Passed again! Yes i've seen it numerous times :D !
Congratss!

Which number are u calling on? I have tried calling them many times but it always says due to high volume we are unable to transfer ur call and its hangs up :/

I would advise anyone to get a GCMS note if you have not gotten any update yet.

I just got mine and I saw that there was "review required" for my proof of funds which was a mistake on the part of the officer in charge. I had two accounts: one in CAD and the other in USD, but the officer just assumed both were in CAD and put a note that I did not have up to the required amount.

I already submitted a webform explaining the details of the account and highlighting the misunderstanding.
Everything else seems fine.
The last time my file was touched was 16th Nov (got a ghost update). So I have just been waiting for no reason since then.

My AOR is 17th Sep.
Med passed 13th Oct.

Hi everyone,

I have finally received the official PPR mail today morning. My story is a bit nerve-wracking because I was expected to receive the PPR mail on February 15, 2019. The IRCC informed me that my PR application was approved and PPR mail was sent to me on February 15, 2019. I did not receive it that day for some technical glitch, I guess. However, I have already sent my passport to the Canadian Consulate. I must say this entire journey from the time I received my IELTS scores till date has been thrilling and perplexing. I hope all those who are awaiting the golden mail would be blessed any time soon.

Sincerely,
Congrats! This shows it's probably best to really try as much as possible to speak to an agent cos PPR email might have been sent out and not received by recipients.

Hi Guys!

I Have always been a silent reader. Today I finally got my COPR mail. Below are my timelines-

AOR - 27th September 2018
Medical pass - 25 October 2018
Background check started - 6th February 2019
Called CIC a week later and got to know my eligibility recommended pass and criminality passed, security not started.
Ghost update - 20th February 2019
PR - today morning 9:30 India time

Ironically I got my gcms notes ordered on 27th of January which I received today just before the PR and that showed that nothing was started till then.
I quick question, since my AOR is september, do I have to go for biometric? My cic account still suggests that no finger print is required.

Thanks for your help. Keep patience whoever I waiting. I can very well understand your pain.

Thanks!

Mate ! Congratulations silent readers are always turn out to dark horse in gettin PPR early .
