Just talked to an agent she said eligibility recommended pass.. security and criminality in progress.
Eligibility recommended pass is a good sign?

Single fix for reducing anxiety: Find an employer in the USA for permanent residency (green card) under EB2/EB3 classification and enter the queue: everything else you have been waiting for in life will come before you will get the green card (if at all, in this lifetime). That said, happy waiting! Just around 8 more weeks before reaching the 6 month mark since AOR.

:D:D Most people who are US residents and are here are probably already on that queue.

Hi Everyone,

I have a situation and wanted have inputs if any of you have faced a similar scenario :

We recently moved from one state to another in US .

I am the primary applicant on the application + Spouse

I raised IRCC web form updating them on the change of address along with new address.

I called IRCC today and they mentioned everything is completed and pending final review . The agent also mentioned that the address is updated to a new one only for me and not for my spouse.

He mentioned that my spouse needs to raise another form with his details for change of address ?

Do we need to raise separate IRCC Web form per family member on the application for change of address update to happen against each member ?

Thanks

Address change within the same country doesn’t really matter much. As you’re in US, you will most likely send passports to Ottawa anyways. Changing adddress matters more if you move country and you would want to submit passport to a different VO. So if you like raise another cse but for all practical purposes it doesn’t matter.

Aaah ok, yes the agent also mentioned that we can update address for him (spouse) or leave it as is.

I don't want disappoint you, but you are in the same case as me. they didn't touch the file since the MEP and transfer to Ottawa
initial assessment mean the R10 check ( before the MEP )

Eligiblity is not started :(

However if you later this month receive the ghost update it mean you cleared the criminal and they probably started with the eligiblity.
I guess Ottawa is clearing the back log (june) and in the process we have to wait.

I asked them what is the status of my eligibility, background and security and when i can expect a final decision. I didnt have to update anything.
Should i send an email to VO- Ottawa to enquire about my file or should i wait for six months to be completed? There are 50 days left to reach 6 months.
