September 2017 Citizenship Applications

Good Morning,

I called the call center yesterday asking about the status of my application the feedback I received was that my application has completed all the checks and I should expect my test invite anytime. When I checked temporary office near you from CIC website, They mentioned they scheduled Fort McMurray, Alberta for February 2018 but dates are not determined yet.

Today is February 6th and did not hear anything from them also CIC call center agent did not mentioned any dates when I called them yesterday.
Any idea?

Hi, I got a mail that is send on January 19 for interview. Because I am older than 55 age.
Interview date : February 7 and I passed the interview and they give me Oath date on march 16 9.00 am.

Note that we have written the test Wed Feb 7th (Montreal Office) and it went really well. The test was relatively easy and it took only a few minutes to complete. After the test we waited for over 20 mins till they called our names for the interview with the officer who asked simple questions and validated the info with original docs requested in the notice to appear for test. She said they'd review all the application again and would get back to us either by email or regular mail invitation for the oath ceremony (estimated waiting time 2-4 months aprox).
Today the status changed to DM.

someone had updated you got your oath letter on jan 30(it was also your DM date). i have updated Oath letter as Feb 08.

They told me at the interview my oath is on March first. However, I received the official notice on Feb 8th. Decision made was January 31st.

I just passed the exam and had a nice and very quick interview, she sais at the end congratulations you passed the exam and I have no issues with your application, you will be invited to a ceremony within 6 to 8 weeks? so please reassure me that my next step is the ceremony
